Mas de Cadenet

Since 1813, the Négrel family is settled on the estate and working to enhance the high reputation of the domain.

The Mas de Cadenet is located at the bottom of the Sainte Victoire mountain, near Aix en Provence.

The Mas de Cadenet is a typically Provencal estate. The name Mas means “domain” in provencal (the local dialect); and Cadenet comes from “cade”, a shrub from the juniper family. Mas de Cadenet could be translated as “Domain of Cade”.

The domain is composed of 45 hectares of vines settled on 250 meters height and has a south exposition. 40 hectares are classified in AOC Sainte Victoire and 5 hectares are planted in AOC Côtes de Provence. Mas de Cadenet produces 50% rosé, 40% rouge, 10% blanc.
